Domingos Oliveira of Spring Valley, CA was convicted of putting a bounty on his teenage daughter’s boyfriend. He allegedly tried to hire someone to kill his teenage daughter’s boyfriend. Oliviera offered $3,000 for the boy, didn’t caring of dead or alive brought to him. Since he was putting postage with this reward all over the town, the police took action and arrested the man. It looked like the police didn’t surprise the felon. 50 year-old man has distributed more than 10, 000 flyers, the ones we have seen in cowboy movies, in the wild West. Most of them were near the high school his daughter goes to.

The father was bitter, when he found out that his 19 year-old daughter is in love with the man “well known” to the police. The poster included the boyfriend’s name and photo, and said he was a convicted sex offender. Police have confirmed that the 33-year-old boyfriend is a registered sex offender, according to the station. Oliveira was convicted of solicitation of murder and making a criminal threat against his daughter Samantha’s boyfriend, registered sex offender Sean Kirk, along with a hate-crime allegation. He got sentenced to 7 years, four moths in state prison.

How far are fathers willing to go in order to “protect” their daughters, and what is a correct call it is open to discussion.
