Ron Wharton of New Smyrna Beach, Florida designed and built theses cars in early 80s. The cars were based on VW mechanicals and Ron fought hard to get a manufacturer’s license to produce the cars. They were only allowed to make 300 vehicles per year which kept them from having to meet major auto manufacturers safety requirements. Enjoy :)
