Celebrities, especially actors, seem to be the best kissers in the world when you see them on the silver screen, but when it comes down to kissing in real life they seem to flunk. These kisses look very awkward and no one will believe you this is for real. There is nothing like an wrong moment to see someone in front of cameras, when everyone expects something, but you don’t feel like doing it. Those kisses look pretty funny. If nothing, now you see that even celebrities are not so perfect as they appear to be.

Arun Nayar & Liz Hurley: So what do you do when you bump into your ex? It was probably an uneasy moment for Liz Hurley when she ran into her ex-husband Arun Nayar at a London art gallery. They kind of kissed it was more like air-kissing!

Barack Obama Michelle Obama: The US President knows how to steal a moment with his wife on a rather busy day. So when Michelle Obama leaned to plant a kiss on her husband’s cheek, it caught our fancy!

Imran Khan & Ranbir Kapoor: On a popular TV chat show, the young and talkative actors literally outplayed the host! And then the awkward moment was when Imran and Ranbir lip-locked in front of the camera.

Paris Hilton: Since she has been kissing around everyone, we can’t keep up with her kissing, but this was pretty funny and awkward since she is obviously faking it!

Rahul Khanna & Bandana Tewari: Model-actor Rahul Khanna was trying hard to be the ladies man at a recent fashion do where he was a co-host. Fashionista Bandana Tewari looks rather like being caught by surprise and like strangely enjoying it or something.

Richard Geer & Shilpa Shetty: Remember this one? Hollywood ‘gentleman’ Richard Geer was trilled by our Indian babe, this looks like a sneaky, out of a blue kiss. One thing is for sure, she didn’t expect this coming.

Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, Vidya Balan: Salman Khan should have felt flattered by the leading ladies of Bollywood trying to plant a peck on his cheeks. Instead he looks aghast!

Sandra Bullock & Meryl Streep: At an awards function, Hollywood actresses Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep put the audience on a laughter riot with their mock kiss act.

Sharon Stone & Richard Geer: When Sharon Stone wants a kiss, well she is getting one. The picture says it all…need we say more?

Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith: Hollywood actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith appear to be in a fun mood. After the sweet surrender, Will Smith fakes his expressions and seems ‘disgusted’! We like. :)

Wonderful thing about being a kid is that you’ll get by with almost everything. Everything you do, even if may seem embarrassing or disgraceful, it is sweet and funny when you are a child. Small children are exploring the world in their way. They are very curious and there is no use in telling no. The only thing you can do and be a good parent is to watch over them all the time. Well, until they hit the puberty and start hating you and avoiding you, because you embarrass them to much. That’s much it about the parenting. Do not be fooled this happens to everybody and it will not miss you. Kids do funny stuff, just have a camera to record their worst moment. You’ll enjoy and laugh in few years over the crazy photos you took.

These cities are now lost, but they really existed once. It is amazing how in one moment there was a populated city with all its attributes of a functional, urban area, and all of the sudden it’s gone! How this happened? These are 10 amazing lost cities which were modern, populated and well organized and now they are gone. It would be like today New York or Rio or Shanghai would disappear. It sounds like mission impossible. I wonder if people who lived in these ten amazing lost cities felt the same. When looking at the ruins of those places I can not tear off the impression that these cities are gone. They are genuine piece of art. With the tools they had at that time, this is really something which is hard to build, even today with all the technology and machines. How the city grow and what was life on the streets of these places, we can not tell with accuracy. We must satisfy our curiosity with the data scientists, archeologist and historians are giving us. God only knows how we can be wrong, in so many levels about all these ancient places. Because, as I see it, it is all about guessing game. They dig out some old stuff and than they guess what that was for. These are 10 amazing places which you can visit and see. Even though they are now ruins, still looks so mighty and astonishing.

1. Chichen Itza, Mexico

The Maya were an ancient civilization of southern Mexico and the Central American countries of Guatemala, Honduras Belize and El Salvador. Today there are an estimated 6 million Maya living in these regions and speaking a variety of Maya languages. Chichen Itza is one of the most visited archaeological sites in Mexico; an estimated 1.2 million tourists visit the ruins every year. How they build this is one other phenomena. During the first millennium AD the Maya observed and mapped the movements of the sun, moon, planets and stars. These celestial objects were incorporated into a complex cosmology and mythology that explained the past and predicted the future. The Maya built their sophisticated and highly decorated ceremonial architecture, including temple-pyramids, palaces and observatories apparently without the use the wheel. While no physical evidence has yet been found of the Mayan use of large wheels for transportation purposes numerous toys have been discovered that do have wheels, therefore it cannot be categorically stated that the Maya did not use larger wheels. [Read More at Wikipedia]

2. Machu Pichu, Peru

The people who lived here were Inca but unfortunately they extinguish. Ancient Inca were great masons. Buildings at the site are so well-built that anyone would be wondering how the early Inca people built all of those. There are buildings at the sight as well as baths and temples. Since Machu Picchu is a peak and living there is already challenging as it is, having 150 buildings constructed is phenomenal. Machu Picchu is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

3. Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Angkor Wat is the world’s largest religious building. Angkor was the seat of Khmer empire. Unfortunately in new history we remember only Red Khmer’s and not in a good way. Anyhow, to build this sanctuary was expected to spend 37 years in the construction that was all of the reign of King Suriyavoraman II. There were 500 builders, 1,000,000 laborers, and 5,000 stone dragging elephants. Even Arnold Toinebee, an English historian who had traveled around the world, said when he saw Angkor Wat that, “See Angkor Wat and Die”.

4. Memphis, Egypt

The Memphis is now an open air museum at Mit Rahina is a small diversion between Saqqara and Giza. It has a number of statues tagged as belonging to Ramses II, an alabaster sphinx, pieces of other statues and the colossi of Ramses II. Most of the displayed artefacts seem to be New Kingdom relics. The open air museum takes about 45 minutes to get around, and that is looking at and photographing each piece on display.

The ancient city of Petra was literally carved from the sandstone cliffs of southern Jordan. The site remained unknown to the Western world until 1812, when it was introduced by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. It was described as “a rose-red city half as old as time” in a Newdigate Prize-winning poem by John William Burgon. UNESCO has described it as “one of the most precious cultural properties of man’s cultural heritage”. Petra was chosen by the BBC as one of “the 40 places you have to see before you die”. [Read More at Wikipedia]

The extensive ruins at Palmyra reveal the network plan of the ancient city. The Corinthian order marks almost all the monuments, but the influence of Mesopotamia and Iran is also clearly evident. The art found on monuments and tombs also reflects the influences of the surrounding Roman and Persian empires. As UNESCO puts it, “the art and architecture of Palmyra, standing at the crossroads of several civilizations, married Graeco-Roman techniques with local traditions and Persian influences.” This city is mentioned in Bible, too as a city in the desert.

The city of Pompeii is a partially buried Roman town-city near modern Naples in the Italian region of Campania, in the territory of the comune of Pompei. Along with Herculaneum, Pompeii was destroyed and completely buried during a long catastrophic eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius spanning two days in the year AD 79. The eruption buried Pompeii under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of ash and pumice, and it was lost for nearly 1700 years before its accidental rediscovery in 1749. Since then, its excavation has provided an extraordinarily detailed insight into the life of a city at the height of the Roman Empire. Today, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Italy, with approximately 2,500,000 visitors every year. [Read More at Wikipedia]
The inhabitants of Pompeii did not know that Vesuvius was a volcano, as it hadn’t erupted in 1,800 years. There isn’t even a Latin word for volcano. The longer a volcano sleeps, the more deadly the eruption. There were signs that Vesuvius was beginning to stir – earthquakes, ground rising up and underground springs drying up – but the people didn’t know how to read these signs or understand what they meant.

Carthage was an ancient city in north Africa located on the eastern side of Lake Tunis, across from the center of modern Tunis in Tunisia. It remains a popular tourist attraction. ” Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam“( “And therefore I believe that Carthage must be destroyed.”) were the words of Marcus Porcius Cato who always ended his speeches with this sentence. He lived 234-149 BC, during a glorious, powerful time in the Roman Empire. Rome’s military dominance was overwhelming. The empire had expanded across the entire Mediterranean region – from Syria to Greece to southern France, and its army kept on conquering with no end in sight. Carthage, an ancient city near what today is Tunis, had been controlling most of the western Mediterranean since around 300 BC, but soon had been challenged by Rome, which was expanding west and didn’t want another strong power in the area. Rome launched two wars, in which Carthage lost its possessions outside of Africa as well as its war ships, but despite that and the sanctions and conditions imposed by Rome, the city quickly recovered and regained prosperity and thus continued to play an important role in the region. In particular, it owned a lot of fertile land and successfully grew olives, grapes, grain, and other agricultural products. After three years of brutal fighting against fierce resistance, Rome emerged victorious, burning and razing the city and taking the few remaining survivors to Rome as slaves. It is believed that he even salted the ground in order nothing to grow there any more.

10. Troy, Turkey

The great works of the Greek poet Homer, the Odyssey and the Iliad, tell of a war between the Greeks and the city of Ilium, which was also called Troy after the region in which it was located.
According to Homer, Troy was a fortified city in present-day Turkey, near the shore of the Aegean Sea. The Greeks attacked Troy to bring back Helen, the kidnapped wife of a Greek warrior. They laid seige to the city for ten years before they captured and destroyed it. The city of Troy disappeared from history in the fourth century. In the centuries since then, there have been many disputes about the exact location of this city. Then in the nineteenth century, archaeologists began digging up a mound of earth in Turkey. The found not one city of Troy, but nine! The first five were small villages. But the sixth, built on top of the other five, was a walled city dating from the twelfth century B.C., the period in which the Trojan War was supposed to have been fought! And there were three more cities on top of that one!
The discovery of the ancient city of Troy didn’t prove that all the stories told in the Odyssey and Iliad were true. But it did much to prove that the Trojan War really happened.

Being a celebrity has its good side. You don’t have much your own free time, not much privacy and paparazzi all over the place, wherever you are, but you can get by with almost everything, even with giving your child the worst name ever. This may effect their life, but who cares, you are rich and famous and you don’t give attention to what other people think. These are 10 worst baby names celebrities gave, in my opinion. I just hope they realize that their children will hate them for this.

1. Zuma Nesta Rock

The proud parents are Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. What I think here happened is that they couldn’t agree about the name, so they started naming the child by their favorite games, music genre, athlete and stuff like that. If nothing they agreed to giving these three names. I guess they will call him Zee in the school.

2. Fifi Trixibelle

The proud parents are Bob Geldof and Paula Yates. This looks to me more like a doggy name than a child name, but what the hack, they are famous. Maybe they had a poodle which they loved so much and the poor dog died in hit and run accident. Poor doggy, but poor child with this name he will have to try hard to survive the cruelty of meeting new people, where he must pronounce his name.

3. Moon Unit
Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen
Dweezil and
Ahmet Emuukha Rodan

These are the names of Frank Zappa’s children, and as far as I believe, he doesn’t even know he named them like this. This reminds us of how giving children names under the influence of any substance is a bad idea.

4. Jermajesty

Jermaine Jackson gave this name to his child. There is noting to say about this name, he is Jackson and all figures up.

5. Sage Moonblood

Sylvester Stallone was thinking of the best name for an action hero or something like that. But as it turns out here, his son is more of hippie hero than the action one.

6. Pilot Inspector

Jason Lee seems like been wining the bet in thinking of the stupidest name, and he won-what a surprise. Hope this kid will not become pilot or as the matter of fact an inspector, because it could be very confusing.

7. Audio Science

Shannyn Sossamon looks like mistaking when writing the name of the child. Maybe she had her “back to school” papers too. So a honest mistake was made. She wrote her major subject on the birth certificate. Everybody makes mistakes. Wonder what was written as a preferred course, maybe child would do better with that.

8. Reignbeau

Ving Rhames probably secretly loves rainbows but being the large, intimidating man, he couldn’t possibly name his child something sissy like that. So by changing the spelling to include the word “reign”, the name could finally be looked upon as tough even for an icon that clearly isn’t.

9. Moxie Crimefighter

Jesus, Pen Jillette what were you thinking of? Probably, got sick and tired of the way soft drink companies have been getting away with murder for all these years. By naming his child after the one soft drink that started it all, Moxie, he figured his offspring would someday fight for freedom against the carbonated beverage overlords.

10. Kal-El

Nicolas Cage probably was thinking of calling someone. Who ever El is, or maybe he was thinking about superheroes? Nick this kid is gonna hate you for this.

These people did some horrifying things. Just the thought of what they did will freeze the blood in your wains. Before they were caught, no one knew their names, so they got nicknames. Nicknames of these serial killers gave the press or the police. Just when you hear the nickname you will, pretty much get the picture what is all about and what were their crimes. These are really serious crimes, and killing and torturing someone in sadistic way is really scary. No normal person can do something like this. These were (some are still alive) seriously damaged and sick people. What made them do this is hard to tell. There must have been some trigger in their early childhood, which made them the way they are. There is no excuse for what they did, but still no one would chose that way of living if he wasn’t a sick person. I find that this was not a choice but a condition which led them to this path of darkness without possibility of coming back.

1. David Berkowitz: The .44 Caliber Killer/Son of Sam

Method: Sought homosexuals in the well-known gay pub, The Colherne, in West London, who enjoyed the passive role (they all wore color-coded handkerchiefs) as they would initially believe his antics were a sexual game.
What they up to now? Recently tried to convert to Islam in Wakefield prison because he likes the curries they get fed. [This is not a joke.]

7. Thierry Paulin: The Monster of Montmarte

Operation: A French serial killer active in the 1980s who preyed on the old and weak and lived lavishly on the proceeds of his murders.
Method: Suffocated in plastic bags, beaten to death, forced to drink drain cleaner – all the crimes were violent and nasty and motivated by robbery.
What they up to now? Body ravaged by AIDS, in a state of near-paralysis, suffering from both tuberculosis and meningitis, Paulin died during the night of April 16, 1989, in the hospital wing of Fresnes prison.

8. Richard Trenton Chase: The Vampire of Sacramento

Operation: Pre-adulthood, Chase would hold oranges on his head, believing the Vitamin C would be absorbed by his brain via diffusion. He eventually killed six people in just one month in California, earning his nickname by drinking his victims’ blood and eating their flesh.
Method: He would shoot victims dead and then have sex with and mutilate their corpse. He did not wear a cape.
What they up to now? Committed suicide in prison using an overdose of prison doctor-prescribed antidepressants whilst awaiting the gas chamber.

9. Alexander Pichushkin: The Chessboard Killer

Operation: Wanted to kill 64 people, the number of squares on a chessboard primarily targeting elderly homeless men by luring them back to his apartment with vodka.
Method: After drinking with them, he would kill them (always from behind to avoid getting blood on his clothes) by hitting them on the head with a hammer. He then stuck vodka bottles in their skulls to ensure that they did not survive the ordeal.
Quote: What they up to now? He was arrested on 15 June 2006, and convicted on 24 October 2007 of 48 (of 49) murders and three attempted murders. Was held in a glass cage during the trial.

10. The Bender Family: The Bloody Benders

Operation: Family of serial killers (John Bender, his wife Kate, son John Jr. and daughter Kate) who lured victims into their Wayside Inn as “guests of honour”.
Method: One of the men would smash their victims’ skulls open with a hammer and then one of the women would cut their throats to make sure they were dead. This usually happened to wealthy types passing by Drum Creek, to the point where travellers began to avoid the trail.
What they up to now? All dead with their “artefacts (hammers etc) Bender artefacts were eventually given to the Cherryvale Museum and still on display today. It is not as popular as Disneyland.

On creepy nights, through dark woods and steep slopes group of women were secretly walking, looking back over their shoulders in fear that someone may follow them around to the place they are gathering. The top of the Brocken mountain in Germany was the biggest gathering point for witches in Europe. They were gathering to celebrate the coming of the Satan, on the night of Walpurgis. Even though the witchcraft was forbidden they were performing their witch ritual a witch sabbath. Many women have lost their lives during the chasing for the witches. Today people still come to this place, but no burning up women is being performed. Most of the witches in those days were accused for bad weather conditions and ruining the crops.

And today Walpurgis, night on April 30 is an old pagan festival, which borrowed its name from Saint Walburga whose feast occurs on May Day. On this night witches ride on their broomsticks to places of old pagan sacrifices in the Harz Mountains, especially to the Brocken. The Brocken, the highest peak in the Harz Mountains, is considered to be the point of Walpurgisnacht. Its peak has 1142-meter and it’s always in mist and clouds, lending it a mysterious atmosphere that has contributed to its legendary status as the home of witches (Hexen) and devils (Teufel). There, they dance around a huge fire and worship their lord the devil, who bestows them with new magic power.
The writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) in Faust writes that the witches come on Walpurgis night and sing:

“Now to the Brocken the witches ride; the stubble is gold and the corn is green; There is the carnival crew to be seen, And Squire Urianus will come to preside. So over the valleys our company floats, with witches a-farting on stinking old goats.“

If scary tales of witches, and devil and ghosts are not enough for you, the Brockenber has a meteorological phenomenon: the Brockengespenst, or spectre of the Brocken. Given the right atmospheric conditions, the mountain can produce an optical illusion. As the sun sinks, the shadow of a walker cast from a ridge becomes magnified and an enormous silhouette appears on low-lying clouds or mist banks below the mountain. If you are not afraid of the shadows than you’ll get scared when you find out that the distant shadow starts walking, tracking the observer’s path. The name Brocken spectre came into use among mountaineers after a climber fell to his death on the Brocken. Not realising that he was observing his own shadow, the climber lost his footing after being startled by a rainbow haloed figure emerging from the mists. Forest pathways snake through Brocken National Park, shrouded in mist, their gnarled limbs dripping with moss and lichens, the trees seem to close in behind the hiker. With names such as the Witch’s Altar and Devil’s Pulpit, bizarre rock formations rise from the forest floor. In the brooding green half-light, the rocks take on a malevolent appearance.

Lars Von Trier or David Lynch, both in surreal and artistic way are making movies and giving their view on the aspect of life and history. Most of their films are making people nauseous. Both of them were challenged and in some cases called resist, fascist and many other names. Is it because not everyone can understand or have stomach for this, they have always been on the spotlight, and many critics favorite subject. Me, personally, I’m more into Lars’s movies, maybe because I’m from Europe and find it more closer to my culture. Set design in Lars Von Trier’s movie “Europe” is pretty dark. “You will now listen to my voice. My voice will help you and guide you still deeper into Europa. Every time you hear my voice, with every word and every number, you will enter into a still deeper layer, open, relaxed and receptive. I shall now count from one to ten.” The voice leading you through chapters of Europe is even hallucinogenic and hypnotic. Von Trier plays about with colors and tricks such as spinning figures and projected images in the background. The movie was inspired with David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. But is it really? Here is a short overview of both movies.

Death is a normal part of life. Most people are scared of dying because just the thought that your existence will end is one scary thought. Through history people have died and some died in unconventional way. You cannot imagine the craziest way people have ended their lives. This is a list of 10 weirdest recorded deaths through history.

1. Death by Embracing the Reflection of the Moon

Chinese poet Li Po (701-706) was one of the two greatest poets in China’s literary history. He was known for liking to see the bottom of the cup and his greatest poems were written while drunk. One night, Li Po fell from his boat and drowned in the Yangtze River while trying to embrace the reflection of the moon in the water.

2. Death because of Beard

Austrian Hans Steininger was famous for having the world’s longest beard (it was 4.5 feet or nearly 1.4 m long) and for dying because of it. One day in 1567, there was a fire in town and in was in haste to get there and forgot to roll up his beard. He accidentally stepped on his beard, lost balance, stumbled, broke his neck and died!

3. Death by Dessert

King Adolf Frederick of Sweden loved to eat and died from it too! The “King Who Ate Himself to Death” as the children in Sweden learn in school about him, died in 1771 at the age of 61 from a digestive problem after eating an epic meal no less than: lobster, caviar, saurkraut, cabbage soup, smoked herring, champagne and 14 servings of his favorite dessert: semla, a bun filled with marzipan and milk.

4. Death from Stubbing One’s Toe

There is something to learn from this story. Famous Tennessee whiskey distiller Jack Daniel one day came early to work. On that morning in 1911, he wanted to open his safe but couldn’t remember the combination. In anger, Jack kicked the safe and injured his toe, which later developed an infection which killed him! Have you learned something from this? The most important thing you learn here is not to go early to work!

5. Death by 1) Poison, 2) Gunshot Wound (4x), 3) Beating by Clubs, 4) Drowning.

According to legends, Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin (1869-1916) was first poisoned with enough cyanide to kill ten men, but he wasn’t affected. So his killers shot him in the back with a revolver. Rasputin fell but later revived. So, he was shot again three more times, but Rasputin still lived. He was then clubbed, and for good measure thrown into the icy Neva River.

6. Death by Scarf

“Mother of modern dance” Isadora Duncan was killed in 1927 by her trademark scarf she loved to wear. As the New York Times noted in its obituary of the dancer on 15 September 1927, “The automobile was going at full speed when the scarf of strong silk began winding around the wheel and with terrific force dragged Miss Duncan, around whom it was securely wrapped, bodily over the side of the car, precipitating her with violence against the cobblestone street. She was dragged for several yards before the chauffeur halted, attracted by her cries in the street. Medical aid was summoned, but it was stated that she had been strangled and killed instantly.”

7. Death by Bottle Cap

American playwright Tennessee Williams died in 1983 after he choked on a bottle cap in his hotel room. Strange way for someone to die, but many strange deaths have been recorded while people were drunk.

8. Death by Belly Slam

British pro wrestler Mal “King Kong” Kirk died underneath the big belly of Shirley “Big Daddy” Crabtree. In August 1987, during the final moments of the match, Crabtree delivered his signature “Belly-Splash” move (basically jumping up and down, slamming his belly onto a guy) on Kirk, who then had a heart attack and died.

9. Death by Cactus

This is probably the one and only recorded revenge kill by a plant in history. In 1982, 27-year-old David Grundman and a roommate decided to do a little “cactus plugging,” by shooting the desert plant with a shotgun. The first one, a small cactus, went off without a hitch and Grundman was encouraged to try a larger prey: a 26-foot-tall Saguaro cactus, probably a 100-year-old plant. Unfortunately, Grundman blasted off a large chuck of the cactus that fell on him and crushed him to death!

10. Death by Orange Peel

Bobby Leach wasn’t afraid of facing death, he was daring it all the time : in 1911, he was the second person in the world to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel. The daredevil went on to perform many other death-defying stunts, so his death is pretty ironic. One day while walking down a street in New Zealand, Leach slipped on a piece of orange peel. He broke his leg so badly it had to be amputated. Leach died due to complications that developed afterwards.
