How would you feel in letting your child pose with Santa and holding a gun? A real Christmas spirit, isn’t it? Thinking about what Christmas should represent makes me think how guns are fitting the picture. What’s the story about, you will wonder. A US gun club has caused controversy by posting pictures of members with firearms posing with Father Christmas. The Scottsdale Gun Club in Arizona put up the images on its Facebook page. You’ll see photos of children posing with weapons from pistols to high-powered machine guns.

This looks pretty awkward if you ask me, and it doesn’t seem like a “right” way to share the joy of Christmas and it doesn’t look like a right “Christmas spirit“! This is the second year in a row Scottsdale Gun Club has held the Christmas photo opportunity. Members pay a $10 fee to pose for the pictures which can be turned into Christmas cards. I do support the right to do what you like, but if you are a true believer you will never do this, just because Christianity is not all about guns and killings!
