You Know You Are An Italian If…

Being Italian is a great thing. You don’t need any actual friends before you go to college. You have your family and your relatives to be with until that time comes. The food is great, the wine is even better. There is nothing not to love about being Italiano! You know you are Italian if:

1. You spent your entire childhood thinking what you ate for lunch was pronounced “sangwich.”

2. Your family dog understood Italian.

3. Every Sunday afternoon of your childhood was spent visiting your grandparents and extended family.

4. You’ve experienced the phenomena of 150 people fitting into 50 square feet of yard during a family cookout.

5. You were surprised to discover the FDA recommends you eat three meals a day, not seven.

6. You ate pasta for dinner at least three times a week, and every Sunday.

7. You grew up thinking no fruit or vegetable had a fixed price and that the price of everything was negotiable through haggling.

8. You watched Lawrence Welk and Ed Sullivan every Sunday night.

9. You were as tall as your grandmother by the age of seven.

10. You thought everyone’s last name ended in a vowel.

11. You thought nylons were supposed to be worn rolled to the ankles.

12. You were surprised to find out that wine was actually sold in stores.

13. You never ate meat on Christmas Eve or any Friday for that matter.

14. You ate your salad after the main course.

10 Worst Album Covers In 2011

This 2011 year seems to be a very productive one. Some of the most popular songs have been created and some of the most wonderful artist have appeared, and the worst album covers have been presented to us. If it is to judge by the cover, than these albums would never been sold and if you ask me they would never hit the record shelf’s.

1.LIMP BIZKIT GOLD COBRA

It looks like Limp Bizkit decides to keep up with the new trends, and the super, mega planetary hit Kardashian’s and decided to make a cover like this. It is look-a-like…isn’t it?

2. THE CHAP WE ARE THE BEST

If this dog should represent how good they are, than I would not agree with the statement.

3. THOSE DARLINS SCREWS GET LOOSE

It looks like screws got lost into her nose, better get them out, it is a bugger to have something up your nose.

4. STEVE MACKAY SOMETIMES LIKE THIS I TALK

It looks like he is having a hard time to make a difference between sax and bong. It looks like his brain turned into mash potato.

5. T-PAIN REVOLVER

Steam-punk apocalypse and who will guess what else here may be on this album, or not?

6. JOSH T. PEARSON LAST OF THE COUNTRY GENTLEMEN

It looks like: “Man, I’m up here!”

7. SCIENTIST SCIENTIST LAUNCHES DUBSTEP INTO OUTER SPACE

Dubstep is not the main stream and it seems like everyone listen to this, so why wouldn’t they launch it into outer space!

8. WILLIAM SHATNER SEEKING MAJOR TOM

Major Tom this is Grand Control and I command you to take this stupid record and change the cover.

9. NO EMOTION SHIT IS BAD…BUT DIARRHEA IS WORSE

This is a true pain in the ass, but literary. If There is something I cannot stand, than this would be it!

10. 31 KNOT TRUMP HARM

O.K. you are the Sun? Son, are you sure this doesn’t have to do anything with drugs?

10 Worst Song Lyrics

It makes me wonder how do some songs get by with that amount of stupidity? It is all about the catchy tones and the lyrics apparently don’t matter. Here is my collection of 10 probably the stupidest lyrics.

1.Snap – Rhythm is a Dancer

“I’m as serious as cancer when I say rhythm is a dancer”
A moment to think about what they are saying: Really? Comparing rhythm of a dancer with the life threatening illness? Not sure how these two can be compared?

2.Shakira – Whenever, Wherever

“Lucky that my breasts
Are small and humble
So you don’t confuse
Them with mountains”
Luckily the size doesn’t matter as well as the lyrics, it is all about shaking and catchy tone.

3.Red Hot Chilli Peppers – Suck My Kiss

“K-I-S-S-I-N-G
Chicka chicka dee
Do me like a banshee
Low brow is how
Swimming in the sound
of bow wow wow”
Anthony, you weren’t even trying here. This got me thinking, should I be listening to all the songs and notice it better the lyrics?

4.New Edition – Popcorn Love

‘”P” is for her personality
I said the “O” is for originality
And the other “P” is for the perfect love she gives to me
The “C” is just ’cause she loves me
And the “O” means she’s the only love I got
And the “R” and the “N”, our love will never end‘
O.K. like popcorn is not bad enough, you had to make it even stupider? Still don’t get where is R or as the matter of fact, N in LOVE?

5.Oasis – Supersonic

“I know a girl called Elsa
She’s into Alka Seltzer
She sniffs it through a cane
On a supersonic train
She made me laugh
I got her autograph”
These lyrics look like a someone on very heavy and bad drugs did it, with no connection to anything and without any sense.

6.Insane Clown Posse – Miracles

“Fucking magnets, how do they work?”
Magnets are the least of ICP’s worries in this lyrically challenged song. Miracles is a perfect showcase at how insane the Insane Clown Posse really are. According to the lyrics, they don’t believe scientists, don’t understand rainbows (we’re not even talking about the double rainbow variety here) and they get their cellphones stolen by pelicans.

7.Madonna – I Love New York

“I don’t like cities
But I like New York
Other places
Make me feel like a dork”
Madonna as the pop queen, should not allow a rhyme New York and dork?!

8. Razorlight – Somewhere Else

“And I met a girl, she asked me my name, I told her what it was”
This is really deep. Wow! She asked jis name and he told her. This is really something! Can’t wait to hear what happened next-NOT!

9.The Killers – Human

“Are we human or are we dancer”
We’ll not go into grammar here, that is not what interests us. But this is really without any sense. Must mention The Killers other approach: “I’ve got soul but I’m not a soldier“. It seems like they really like making crazy stuff.

10. Black Eyed Peas – My Humps

“My hump, my hump, my lovely lady lumps.”
Not sure about what she is offering to here. Lead singer, will.i.am is actually a very intelligent person so it’s a mystery how lyrics that make it sound like Fergie has a (sexy?) tumor can make their way into their songs.

Photos of inventive and not so inventive DIY. Some of these are pretty good. I’m thinking about trying them out at home, while others you would have to be totally out of your mind to want to try and recreate, some of these take frugal living to the extreme. This is the collection of winning bodges!

Smart and Sarcastic Sign Defacement

Some signs are just calling out to be a jerk, even though you are not one. It is funny how some of the defacement looks so natural over there. It is so not smart putting a sign without thinking twice how other people will react on it. Even if you have the best intention not all the people will think the same. Be careful with the signs. Most of these signs were designed to help people — to get where they’re going, to find a pet, to avoid grievous bodily harm — and yet some writing-utensil-wielding wise-asses felt compelled to come along and totally deface them. We’re so glad they did. Does that mean we value a wry sense of humor or even just a lazy reference to an outdated song over the safety of our fellow human beings? We’re insulted you would even ask. Of course we do.

Dumb and Witty Celebrity Tweets

These tweets will amuse you. Celebrities are just like all the other people, they are more humans than we like to imagine. Celebrity tweets are in the center of attention of many newspapers and magazines.

Celebrities tweet a lot. People are gathering around their profiles like moths to the light. What do they tweet about and is all they say so sacred or is it just plain and dumb sometimes, see it yourself. Twitter has given us a closer relationship with all of our favorite (or not so favorite) celebrities, by allowing us to follow all their daily thoughts and activities. Some celebrities choose to have their PR department handle all their tweeting, but others choose to run their own Twitter profiles and occasionally reward us with some hilarious tweets.

We have gathered up some really crazy and amusing tweets. The treat of the real deal is priceless. Much better when you know that the “star” actually wrote the status. Their real thoughts are not open to the public, but from time to time they come out and we get to see that they are just humans.
