Most Expensive Tea Grown In Panda Poop

The former calligraphy teacher has purchased 11 tonnes of excrement from a panda breeding center to fertilize a tea crop in the mountains of Szechuan province in southwestern China, home to the black and white bears.

An says he will harvest the first batch of tea leaves this spring and it will be the “world’s most expensive tea” at almost 220,000 yuan ($34,000) for 500 grams.

Chinese tea drinkers regard the first batch of tea to be harvested in the early spring as the best and successive batches, regarded as inferior, will sell for around 20,000 yuan.

He quit his job at Szechuan University to throw himself “heart and soul” into his company, Panda Tea, whose logo features a smiling panda wearing a bow tie and holding a steaming glass of green tea.

While An hopes to make money from the tea, which he has planted on just over 2.5 acres (one hectare) of land, his main mission is to convince the world to protect the environment and replace chemical fertilizers with animal feces – before it is too late.

These Are The Most Beautiful Girls In 2011 – Miss Universe

Competition known as Miss Universe was founded in California by a clothing company Pacific Mils, 1952. From the first Miss Universe until today things have changed, as well as the headquarters, which are now in New York. In 1996 the pageant became acquired by Donald Trump.
You all know how this pageant looks like now, it is all about women looking good and wearing swimming suits. But in the year of 1951 when the first competition was held, Miss Yolande Betbeze refused to pose in swimming suit. The next beauty pageant in 1952, was nothing better. There was no problem with swimming suit now, but the Miss was not able to preform all the duties the Miss Universe has, because she was to get married. The first Miss Universe broadcasted on TV was in 1955, on CBS.
It looks like some countries have won the beauty pageant more than other countries. Are the girls from these countries the best looking ones? Venezuela, India, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil. There is something about the Latin America. Is it in the air or Sun, I don’t know, but one thing is for sure, they really look amazing! One of the most successful countries, but not a wining one is England. England has most often been in top 5, but never a winner too.
This year was the 60th Annual Miss Universe, was held at the Credicard Hall in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011.
Leila Lopes from Angola was the winner, out of 89 girls. It was not an easy task. Just looking at photos of these girls it is easy to see that these girls are really happy for just being there. They are after all 89 most beautiful girls in the whole world. Even if not getting the crown, which is specially made for this pageant. The Miss Universe crown used from 2002–2007 was designed by Mikimoto, the official jewellery sponsor of the Miss Universe Organization, and depicted the phoenix rising, signifying status, power and beauty. …”The crown has 500 diamonds of almost 30 carats (6.0 g), 120 South Sea and Akoya pearls, ranging in size from 3 to 18 mm diameter and is valued at $250,000. The Crown was designed specifically for the pageant on Mikimoto Pearl Island in Japan with the Mikimoto crown and tiara being first used for Miss Universe 2002.” (source by wiki)
Here are the photos 2011 contestants. I am sure that you will find them more than beautiful. After all these are the most beautiful women from the countries around the world. They had to fulfill high standards to get in. Not only the girl must look great, she has to be charismatic and pretty smart too. Beauty is all in one, not only the appearance.

Living in a Billboard
This has got to be recycling at its best. Why throwout perfectly good billboards when you can reuse them as a living space? I don’t know about you, but how many billboards have you seen that would make a good one bedroom apartment? This may be the idea, but we shall see if it comes into practical use.

Living in a Walking House
WALKING HOUSE is a modular dwelling system that enables persons to live a peaceful nomadic life, moving slowly through the landscape or cityscape with minimal impact on the environment. It collects energy from its surroundings using solar cells and small windmills. There is a system for collecting rain water and a system for solar heated hot water.

Living under the Grass
At first sight, the place seems inhospitable. A rocky cliff facing North, unsheltered, where the wind blows cold and makes the waves break would seem the last place you would want to build your house in. But its owners didn’t think the same way and, thus, an unusual building of angular, but sober, lines was built to merge perfectly with the surrounding environment. Located in Loredo, in the north coast of Spain, facing the Cantabrian Sea (Bay of Biscay), the OS house, a project by the Nolaster group of architects, has, as its main characteristic, its covering, which is none other than grass.

Living in a Water Tower
“The Tower,” a Tri Level House Standing 85 Feet Tall, is a Replica of a Historical Water Tower that was Reconstructed. The Architectural Design is Combined with a Designer Interior Layout. The Water Tower Features a 360 Degree, Unsurpassed View of the Pacific Ocean, Huntington Harbour and the San Gabriel River.

Living over a Bridge
Max Pritchard Architect brought out the adventurer side in you. Living inside a “bridge” surrounded by the lush green scenery was challenging. It was the Bridge House. The house design was consisted of two steel trusses with concrete floors and steel decking. There was a roof made of plantation pipes. The unique house had transparent walls made of glass. The outdoor feeling in was brought by another great example of narrow housing. The box house was situated at one hour’s drive from Adelaide, worth $175,000.

Living inside an Airplane
This accommodation is not a private dwelling but instead a suite that is part of the Hotel Costa Verde, a hotel located near Quepos, Costa Rica. It’s a fully outfitted, meticulously detailed, two bedroom, Boeing 727 fuselage suite. The creators have refurbished a vintage 1965 Boeing 727 airframe, which in its prior life shuttled globetrotters on South Africa Air and Avianca Airlines (Colombia).

Living in a Church
This stunning Gothic Revival-style building is now one of the most extraordinary and largest single family homes in San Francisco. Built in 1909 in San Francisco’s famed Mission District, this church fell on hard times in recent years when its dwindling membership did not have the money to finance needed renovations. Enter businessman Siamak Akhavan who purchased the church for $2.25 million and invested another $3 million in it, turning it into a three-bedroom, 2-½ bath, twelve-room home. Its features include an enormous living area, which includes the original sanctuary (with soaring, hand-painted ceilings, arched windows, and most of the original stained glass windows), custom mahogany wood finishes, four fireplaces, and a new chef’s kitchen. The Master Suite includes a marble Roman tub room, dressing room, and incredible 360 degree views from the tower meditation room. It’s back on the market again, too. Asking price? A cool $7.5 million.

Living on a 2,575m Peak
Since 1983, the Rifugio Nuvolau has been a refuge for exhausted trekkers, providing comfort and solace to those trudging in Italy’s dramatic Dolomite Mountains. Even during World War 1, the 2,575m high hut served as a point for surveying situations on the summit. Besides a flashback in history, the location will provide a bed, eatables, and the jolly company of other outdoorsy souls like you.

Living on a Boat – on shore.
The Ship Residence sits on South Bass Island in Lake Erie at Put-in-Bay, Ohio. Its based on what is left of the former Great Lakes Shipping Boat, The Benson Ford. The boat was built by Henry Ford (of Ford Motors and the Model T) and named after his grandson. After 50 years of service on the Great Lakes, the Benson Ford was scheduled in 1986 to be scrapped. This is when an Ohio couple stepped in and the captain’s quarters of the Benson Ford became The Ship Residence, a private home on South Bass Island.

The front section of the Benson Ford is where the walnut paneled state rooms, dining room, galley, and passenger lounge were located. These elegant quarters were removed from the rest of the ship and brought to land to make up the magnificent Ship Residence.

Living Upside Down
Klaudiusz Golos and Sebastion Mikuciuk created this upside down house for an exhibit in Trassenheide, Germany. It’s clearly unlivable but still a lot of fun.

The Most Wonderful Temples Of The World

Tiger’s Nest Monastery
Perched precariously on the edge of a 3,000 feet high cliff in Paro Valley, is one of the holiest places in Bhutan.

Wat Rong Khun
In Chiang Mai, Thailand, is unlike any Buddhist temples in the world.

Prambanan
It’s a Hindu temple in Central Java, Indonesia. The temple was built in 850 CE, and is composed of 8 main shrines and 250 surrounding smaller ones.

Shwedagon Paya ( Pagoda )
No one knows exactly when this temple in Myanmar was built. Legend has it that it is 2,500 years old though archaeologists estimate that it was built between the 6th and 10th century.

Temple of Heaven
It is a Taoist temple in Beijing, the capital of China. The temple was constructed in 14th century by Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty.

Chion-in Temple
It was built in 1234 CE to honor of the founder of Jodo (Pure Land) Buddhism, a priest named Honen, who fasted to death in the very spot.

Borobudur
In the 19th century, Dutch occupiers of Indonesia found a massive ancient ruin deep in the jungles of Java. What they discovered was the complex of Borobudur, a gigantic structure built with nearly 2 million cubic feet of stones. The temple has nearly 2,700 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues.

Golden Temple
The Harmandir Sahib ( meaning The Abode of God ) or simply the Golden Temple in Punjab, India, is the most sacred shrine of Sikhism.

Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple
The Temple of Srirangam ( Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple ) in the Indian city of Tiruchirapalli ( or Trichy ) is the largest functioning Hindu temple in the world. (Ankor Wat is the largest of all temple, but it is currently non-functioning as a temple – see below).

Ankor Wat
It is the largest temple in history and the inspiration to countless novels and action movies of Hollywood.

Cruel World for The Children

Millions of children around the world suffer from poverty, violence and diseases, many of them have to work hard. Many people don’t care about this and it is terrible. Frankly, my heart bleeds seeing these kids, who from an early age had to deal with this cruel world.
